See the solar eclipse at Dallas Parks

On Monday, August 21, a solar eclipse will cover much of the United States. Dallas residents can gather together to watch the eclipse at several Dallas parks. The Park and Recreation department reminds citizens to bring eclipse viewing glasses and to wear sunscreen.

Eclipse gatherings will be held at the following park locations from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.:

  • White Rock Lake at Winfrey Point
  • Bachman Lake at The Pavilion
  • Kiest Park at The Pavilion
