City of Dallas offices will close from Nov. 24 to 25, in recognition of Thanksgiving. Please see below for a full list of department and facility closures.
Dallas Public Libraries:
All libraries will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23 and be closed Nov. 24 and 25 for Thanksgiving. Normal operating hours will resume Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022.
Sanitation:
Sanitation offices, collection operations, transfer stations, and the McCommas Bluff Landfill are closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday. As a result, Thursday, 11/24, recycle and garbage collections will occur on Friday, and collections scheduled for Friday, 11/25, will occur on Saturday.

Dallas Water Utilities:
Dallas Water Utilities administrative and customer services offices will be closed on November 24 and 25 in recognition of Thanksgiving Day.
For emergency service requests, customers may call 3-1-1. Non-emergency requests can be submitted here or on OurDallas mobile app available for download on Apple and Android devices.
Animal Services:
Dallas Animal Services will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2022 but resume operations on Nov. 25.
