On Wednesday, October 3, Councilmember Jennifer S. Gates read a Mayoral proclamation making the declaration and recognized members of the Mayor’s Domestic Violence Task Force, a group she chairs. City Councilmembers, all wearing purple in some form or fashion applauded her announcement.
