New perimeter fence being installed at Love Field

A new perimeter fence being installed at Love Field will help keep four-legged visitors from entering the airfield.

The original chain link fence is old and not effective at keeping animals from wandering onto the airfield. Love Field staff say the new eight-foot fence will be more difficult for wildlife to climb and a concrete strip and wire mesh will also help prevent animals from digging under it.

The new fence is expected to be completed late this year.
