Dallas Water Utilities honors “King of the Deep Fryer” for Cease the Grease support

Dallas Water Utilities recently honored Abel Gonzales, the “King of the Deep Fryer” for his long-time support of the Cease the Grease program.

Gonzales is well known at the State Fair of Texas for his Fried Butter and Fried Coke concoctions and has been an ambassador and focal point for the Cease the Grease message, even giving free cooking lessons as prizes for program contest winners. He has had more wins for his fried food concoctions than any other contestant in the history of the State Fair of Texas.
