Dallas Public Library hosts Community Garden and Urban Farming Workshops

Are you interested in starting a community garden? Are you already running a community garden and have questions? Do you need help writing an urban farm business or marketing plan? Get the answers and information you need at one of the free Urban Agriculture workshops being held at several City of Dallas branch libraries.

The Grow North Texas Urban Ag Success project and other community garden leaders will present the Community Garden Workshop Series from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at these branch libraries:

April 8 – Highland Hills, 6200 Bonnie View Road
May 10 – Prairie Creek, 9609 Lake June Road
June 23 – Lancaster-Kiest, 2008 E. Kiest Blvd.

Those who need help starting an urban farm can get helpful information at the Grow North Texas Urban Farming Workshop series, being held at these branch libraries:

March 24 – Martin Luther King Jr., 2922 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
April 12 – Highland Hills, 6200 Bonnie View Road
May 26 – Prairie Creek, 9609 Lake June Road
June 14 – Lancaster-Kiest, 2008 E. Kiest Blvd.
