Dallas celebrates Welcoming Week
During this annual series of events, communities bring together immigrants and those born here in a spirit of unity to build strong connections across their communities and affirm the benefits of welcoming everyone.
In 2018, there were over 2,000 events in 400 communities during Welcoming Week, with more than 80,000 people participating.
Hosting a Welcoming Week event is part of a movement of more and more communities across the globe who recognize that being a welcoming community for all makes us stronger economically, socially and culturally.
