Dallas B.R.A.I.N. offers entrepreneurial workshops at Central Library

The City of Dallas’ Business Resource and Information Network (B.R.A.I.N.) is offering a number of exciting and engaging workshops for current and prospective area small business owners through its partnership with the Dallas Public Library System.

As the City’s entrepreneurial literacy and local business development vehicle, Dallas B.R.A.I.N. is actively assisting in delivering business education, resources and programming to local entrepreneurs. The most recent workshop offerings include help in getting business’ required “doing business as” or DBA accomplished, free legal assistance and information on the new laws in Texas Intrastate crowdfunding.

In addition, through its continued partnerships with SourceFinder partner events, U.S. Sourcelink, JPMorgan Chase, and the Small Business Forward Initiative, Dallas B.R.A.I.N. will unveil new SourceFinder infographics during Dallas Small Business Week 2016.

The next B.R.A.I.N. informational session will be held March 10 at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library for organizations interested in becoming a Dallas B.R.A.I.N. Resource Partner. Admission to the session is free for nonprofit, governmental and educational organizations. There are also select opportunities for for-profit organizations to participate through our volunteer program. The informational session will also include a tour of the Central Library’s training and event spaces which are made available to partners for their programs.

If you or someone you know is interested in attending the informational session or setting up a time to meet with the Dallas B.R.A.I.N staff, visit www.thedallasbrain.org, email [email protected] or call (214) 670-3441.
