Dallas 311 to Receive Phone System Upgrade Friday Oct. 2

The City of Dallas’ 311 call center will experience an estimated 15-30 minute lull in service time Friday evening, Oct. 2, 2015 between 8 and 10 p.m.

The extended wait time is due to a major upgrade to the Dallas 311 phone technology system which will enable key improvements for users.

“Our team will be updating the public on the progress of the upgrade by posting messages on our website and social media,” Strategic Customer Services Assistant Director Margaret Wright said. “We thank you for your patience during this process and look forward to better serving you once it’s up and running.”

Service requests can be submitted through the Dallas 311 Website and the Dallas 311 Mobile App any time throughout the process.

For water bill payments, the option to pay by phone will be unavailable between 8 p.m. and midnight on Friday, October 2. To pay your bill online please visit our e-Pay site.
