Council approves leases near Love Field to accommodate parking demand

The Dallas City Council approved a proposal to allow Dallas Love Field to lease 2,808 acres located on the west side of the airport at 2225 and 2311 Burbank Street.

After the expiration of the Wright Amendment in October 2013, the airport has experienced increased passenger traffic and demand for additional parking space. In order to provide additional parking and space for rental cars while Garage C is completed in 2018, these vacant lots will ensure that any increased demand and emergency parking needs are accommodated.
