Construction preparations begin for Love Field Garage C

Pre-construction activities are underway for a new parking garage at Love Field which will add more than 5,000 parking spaces when completed in late 2017.

Crews are working now to locate sewer lines, water mains and electrical conduits for relocation. The second part of the construction will be to demolish existing structures so that the excavation can begin on what will be the below ground floor of the parking garage. Four floors will be constructed above ground.

Relocation of existing parking areas, offices and the cell lot will be moved once demolition and excavation begins in late December.
