City releases “Dallas Data Points” highlighting success

The City’s Center for Performance Excellence (CPE) has released an interactive performance dashboard, Dallas Data Points, which highlights measures most important to residents based on Community Survey data and feedback.

Assistant Director for CPE Strategic Initiatives LaToya Jackson said more than 2,500 measures were reviewed by CPE staff to determine what measures should be highlighted. The improved dashboard is part of the City’s commitment to continuous improvement and to track and report measures clearly and transparently, Jackson said.

Dallas Data Points highlights the key focus areas for the City and allows citizens to see the measures that set the framework for each of the priorities. The interactive and visual performance tool allows citizens to customize charts and graphs and to add photos, images, and narratives to provide background information on the performance measure.
