City Council members, Downtown Dallas, Inc., and Limebike to discuss bike-sharing

The City of Dallas Mobility Solutions, Infrastructure and Sustainability Committee will hold a briefing at 1 p.m. Monday Aug. 14  in the first floor lobby of Dallas City Hall, 1500 Marilla St. The committee will consider how bike-sharing can support Dallas’ mobility goals. District 11 councilmember Lee Kleinman, chairman of the Committee, District 14 councilmember Phillip Kingston and Dallas Park and Recreation Director Willis Winters will attend.

Limebike is the nation’s first dockless bike sharing service. Their smart-bikes are equipped with GPS, wireless technology and self-activating locks, and make riding faster, cheaper and healthier for users.
