Bertrand Monthly Market bringing healthy food choices to south Dallas

South Dallas residents now have healthier food options thanks to the Bertrand Neighborhood Association. The Association’s Monthly Market is held the fourth Saturday of the month, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the corner of Scyene and Bertrand Ave., across from the Hatcher DART station.

The Bertrand Neighborhood Association received a GrowSouth Neighborhood Challenge Grant for their efforts to enhance growth in Southern Dallas. The Association is partnering with Frazier Revitalization, Inc., the Congress for the new Urbanism, North Texas and True Lee Missionary Baptist Church.
