Airport Noise Monitors now in operation at Dallas Executive

Four new noise monitors are now operational at Dallas Executive Airport. The monitors will help airport staff deal effectively with noise complaints.

“These monitors will provide us with a pattern of noise so we can work to minimize the impact to surrounding neighborhoods,” said Dallas Executive Airport Manager Darrell Phillips.

The primary purpose of an Airport Noise Monitoring System is to monitor and ultimately, manage and control the noise levels generated by aircraft movements in and around the airport.
