EARTHx festival kicks off at Historic Fair Park

The three-day EARTHx festival begins today in historic Fair Park.  Founded in 2011, EARTHx bills itself as the largest environmental experience event of its kind in the world. Attendees this year can expect to see astronaut Buzz Aldrin, Ohio Governor John Kasich, and Dr. Ved Chirayath of NASA. There will be EarthxFilm screenings that run through Sunday, April 22.

James McGuire, managing director of Dallas’ Office of Environmental Quality will also be speaking about climate resilient cities at a symposium during the event. Admission is $5 for the Expo, but free with registration at EarthX.org or by downloading the mobile app from here.
