Local Roots is a four-part series, collaborative program with Good Local Markets and the City of Dallas’ Office of Environmental Quality and Sustainability – Urban Agriculture, Office of Arts and Culture Oak Cliff Cultural Center, The Sophisticated Pacifist (Jin-Ya Huang), Dallas Public Library, and Dallas County Health and Human Services. Each session features a guided tour of the market, highlighting in-season produce paired with nutrition-backed recipes, encouraging sustainable habits and awareness on local agriculture.
