Residents are encouraged to join us the City of Dallas Housing & Community Empowerment on the first stop of their Fair Housing Community Connect Tour 2026:

This initiative aims to expand access to Fair Housing services by bringing staff support directly into Dallas communities, thus reducing barriers, building trust, and empowering residents through convenient, neighborhood-based assistance. Staff will be onsite help answer questions to ensure residents understand their protections under Fair Housing laws.
During each stop on the Community Connect Tour, residents will have the opportunity to access a variety of Fair Housing services, including:
- Assistance with filing discrimination complaints;
- Onsite intake interviews;
- Information on reasonable accommodations & modifications;
- Identifying potential discriminatory practices;
- Referrals to appropriate resources;
- Offering multilingual educational materials.
