Video: Here’s a look at what’s going on in Your City

Among the stories featured on this week’s Your City:

• Park rangers are back in the City of Dallas. The park ranger program was cut in 1986, but now they can be seen again enforcing public safety and providing assistance in Dallas parks. They will also play a role in enforcing the smoking ban that will go into effect in March.

• Dallas Fire-Rescue is doing a lot more than just putting out fires. They are acting as role models in an adopt a school program. It is teaching kids about different aspects of fire safety. Fire fighters work with school staff to create curriculum that relates directly to the needs of the school and the community.
