The U.S. Census is here

The 2020 U.S. Census is here and your help is needed to make sure everyone is counted. The Census only has 10 questions and it takes 10 minutes or less to complete!

Texas loses $1,578 per year for every resident not counted. That’s money that could help fund school breakfasts, affordable housing, groceries and much more.

Due to COVID-19, the self-response date has been extended to August 14. While everyone is practicing social distancing, you can share the Census message virtually – over the telephone, via text, via social media, and email!

Online participation and phone banks are live! The census can be completed at https://2020census.gov/. Share that same link to ensure your family and friends are counted too.

You can also complete the Census over the phone, phone lines are open every day from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. EST.
