The Office of Arts and Culture seeks new artists for the Community Arts Program

The Office of Arts and Culture is currently seeking artists for the Community Artist Program (CAP).

The opening of the application period for the CAP for the Office of Arts and Culture is hosted from July 6 to July 20, 2020.

CAP provides artist services to Dallas communities by ALAANA (African, Latino(a), Asian, Arab, and Native American) and other individual artists and non-profit organizations, by communities’ requests. CAP supports opportunities for Dallas residents to have access to cultural expression and the arts through teaching, performing, and exhibiting various art forms and traditions, at host facilities around Dallas neighborhoods.

In addition to the open application period, the Office of Arts and Culture will be hosting informational sessions. Artists and other individuals will be able to ask questions and become more familiar with the program if they are not already. To access the live informational sessions: bit.ly/CAPworkshop1
