Love Field now the busiest medium-sized airport in the USA

Dallas Love Field has received yet another accolade.

According to an FAA report, Dallas Love Field had 55 percent more flights in 2015 than 2014. 2,518,580 more, to be exact.

That makes Love Field the busiest medium-sized hub airport in the country, beating out Houston Hobby, Austin-Bergstrom International and Lambert-St. Louis International. Overall, Dallas Love is ranked 31st in total flights – out of 545 commercial airports.

The next busiest airport was Portland, but Love only trails them by 1,299,313 enplanements.
