Husband and wife artists share journey of art and discovery in Bath House Cultural Center exhibition
The Bath House Cultural Center presents Innerscapes: Where Dreams Meet Reality, an exhibition featuring paintings by Jeff Hukill and ceramic artwork by Sigrun Hukill, Aug. 6-27. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016, from 7 to 9 PM. The reception will feature music by Dallas musician, Johnny Sequenzia. The exhibition, reception, and all other events related the the Innerscapes exhibition are free and open to the public.
Jeff Hukill and Sigrun Hukill are husband and wife artists living in East Dallas, not far from White Rock Lake. Both artists have been actively involved in the arts for decades. Although the artists have certainly achieved a high level of prominence and recognition in their respective fields, it is unquestionable that the immersion of these two artists into the world of the arts is perhaps motivated more deeply by their aspiration to focus on their spiritual journeys than by any desire to attain the levels of commercial success that many visual artists wish to achieve.
