Dallas ZoomProspector Location Tool launched to assist small businesses

The Office of Economic Development has launched Dallas ZoomProspector, an easy-to-use, interactive location planning tool. This tool allows businesses to view available commercial sites and buildings as well as critical demographic, workforce, talent, and business data.

“Dallas ZoomProspector is a tool that provides businesses of all sizes, but especially small businesses, the data they need to make informed decisions about where to start, grow, or relocate their businesses in the City of Dallas” said Courtney Pogue, Director of the Office of Economic Development. He added “We are laser focused on helping small businesses get through this challenging time and will continue to find ways to support them. Providing a location search tool like Dallas ZoomProspector is one of those ways.”

The City of Dallas has a variety of redevelopment programs, so if you’re interested in finding a site that is within a programmatic area such as a Tax Increment Financing District or Neighborhood Empowerment Zone, you can do that. In addition, you can cross-reference your property search with other types of data, including employment, post-secondary education, transportation, and more.
