Dallas Public Library to kick off Women’s History Month March 4

The Dallas Public Library will kick off Women’s History Month with special events, discussions and workshops from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday March 4 at the Central Library, 1515 Young St.

Director of Libraries Jo Giudice said the event will include programs in English and Spanish, musical performances, a meet and greet celebrating Dallas’ Latina artists and an open art workshop featuring Pamela Nelson. A program on immigration and citizenship issues will be presented in Spanish by Proyecto Inmigrante, and a viewing of short films about influential women will also be presented.
