Dallas Love Field ranked among highest in airport satisfaction

Love Field is among the highest ranked medium size airports in the country for traveler satisfaction in a study released by J.D. Power.

Love Field and Southwest Florida International Airport tied for second place in the rankings with a score of 792 (on a 1,000 point scale). Indianapolis International Airport and Raleigh-Durham International Airport tied for third at 789.

J.D. Power’s 2015 North America Airport Satisfaction Study measured traveler satisfaction among large and medium size airports by examining terminal facilities, airport accessibility, security check, baggage claim, check-in/baggage check and terminal shopping.

In this year’s study, overall traveler satisfaction with the airport experience averaged 725, an improvement from 690 in 2010; the last time the study was conducted.

“Most airports have really made a tremendous shift over the past six years and are now focused on managing the end-to-end experience for their travelers,” said J.D. Power’s Rick Garlick. “It’s no longer just about getting travelers from Point A to Point B as efficiently as possible; it’s about making the airport experience enjoyable.”
