Dallas Executive Airport Phase One runway reconstruction completed

Work on Phase 1 runway reconstruction at Dallas Executive Airport has been completed, with Phase 2 scheduled to conclude in August. Work crews are now crushing concrete which will be recycled and used at the airport, purchased by the City in 1944.

The runway reconstruction and upgrade will assure that runways are in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations.  A new control tower and terminal was completed in 2004.

Phase 3 of the project will begin in spring 2017 at the north end of the main runway which will extend the runway some 6,200 feet.
