City of Dallas Public Information Office receives two TAMIO awards

The City of Dallas Public Information Office was awarded by the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMIO) for a second year in a row for the DallasPETS Foster and RealTrashTalk campaigns. These campaigns bring awareness to the importance of adopting and fostering pets and addresses citizens’ complaints on illegal dumping.

“We wanted to bring awareness to topics citizens care about in Dallas,” said Public Information Officer Emily Black. “These campaigns help our continuing effort to create a more transparent city and keep citizens in-the know about what’s going on in the city.”

Both campaigns received the Award of Honor. To view the winning campaigns or to get involved visit dallaspets.org/foster and http://www.dallascitynews.net/realtrashtalk .
