Attend a free citizenship application workshop

Join the City of Dallas, Office of Welcoming Communities & Immigrant Affairs for a free Citizenship Application Workshop. The workshop will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at the Erik Jonsson Central Library located at 1515 Young Street.

Attendees will have the opportunity to complete their N-400 application for citizenship and have their application reviewed by immigration attorneys and BIA accredited representatives

Space is limited to the first 500 applicants present for the workshop. Please do not bring others with you, space is limited.

The following documentation is needed for the workshop:
•Green Card, Social Security Card and Driver’s License or State ID
•Dates of travels outside the U.S. for the last five years
•Addresses lived and worked with dates for the past five years

If applicable:
•Spouse’s name, date of birth, social security number and green card number or date of naturalization
•Marriage and divorce dates from previous marriages for you and spouse
•Names, dates of birth and green card numbers of your children and addresses if not living with you
•Certified copies of charges and court dispositions of any arrests (A Catholic Charities representative will explain what this means and advise where to locate the records)

Males Only:
•Selective service number and registration date (call 847-688-6888 or go to www.sss.gov)

•Finalización de la solicitud N-400 de ciudadanía
•Abogados y representantes acreditados por BIA revisaran las solicitudes

Este evento se llevará a cabo por orden de llegada. Los primeros 500 solicitantes recibirán ayuda.

Los documentos requeridos para el taller:
•Tarjeta de residencia, seguro social, y la licencia de conducir o identificación del estado
•Fechas de todos los viajes fuera de los EEU en los últimos cinco años
•Lista de todas las direcciones de domicilio y trabajo con fechas durante los últimos cinco años

Si aplicable:
•El nombre, fecha de nacimiento, número de seguro social y numero de extranjero (aparece en la tarjeta de residencia) o fecha de naturalización de su cónyuge.
•La fecha del matrimonio y fecha de divorcio de matrimonios anteriores.
•Los nombres, fechas de nacimiento, números de extranjero y direcciones de domicilio de sus hijos.
•Copias certificados de las disposiciones finales de cualquier arresto (un representante de Caridades Católicas definirá lo que esto implica y dará asesoría en donde obtener los registros).

•Su número de Servicio Selectivo y fecha de registro (llame al 847-688-6888 o visite la página web www.sss.gov).
