Library announces 2017 Teen Film Festival winners

The Dallas Public Library has announced the winners of the Library’s 2017 Teen Film Fest. All entries were three minutes, shot entirely on cellphones and related to the question “What was your most significant moment of 2016?”

“We had a total of 17 entries from Dallas and surrounding cities, many of which were of impressive quality,” said Dallas Public Library Associate Austin Lloyd. “We wanted to create a contest that encourages entries from a diverse array of students. I think that, as was the case last year with our inaugural contest, we met those expectations this year.”

Here are the winners and their videos:

1st place:
Julian Jordan – Booker T. Washington High School
